Event Details

 

The twelfth annual John P. Morris Memorial Lecture will feature Jacqueline A. Berrien, Chair, U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC).  The title of her talk will be, "Realizing the Dream of Equal Employment Opportunity in the 21st Century".

The John P. Morris Memorial Lecture, presented by the Black Law Student Association, honors John Peyton Morris, a faculty member at the College of Law from 1968-1993. Professor Morris was committed to the principles of justice and equal opportunity and worked tirelessly throughout his life to foster diversity.  

 

This lecture is free and open to the public, but tickets are strongly suggested. 

 

**Important Parking Information:  Two Visitor's Pay Lots at ASU will have spots available for this lecture.  The first one is located at the southwest corner of Rural and Terrace (YOU MUST ENTER TERRACE FROM RURAL ROAD, DUE TO CONSTRUCTION & ROAD CLOSURES) and the second one is located at the northwest corner of Apache and Normal (enter on Lemon).   ($2/hour; $8/max.)
